This listing is for the big daddy of our planer line! It features a beefy cast iron frame, cast iron tables that raise and lower on heavy duty jack screws, and a Reeves drive type 1 HP variable feed speed system that allows feed rates from 19-39 FPM. Segmented feed rolls allow for feeding of slightly different thicknesses of stock, and the cast iron chip breakers ensure operator safety. Spring loaded knives for quick, easy blade changes. 3 knife cutterhead is driven by 3 v-belts and a 4" dust hood is included. Shave and save with this heavy duty machine, with sealed, long life ball bearings and heavy duty 5 HP 220 volt single phase motor. 7" thickness capacity and 1/4" minimum planing thickness.
