A bandsaw is a must for any metal shop, and with three speeds, an automatic shut off, and ball bearing blade guides, the Shop Fox M1013 comes equipped with many important performance features. One of these features providing great versatility is the swiveling headstock so there is no fussing with establishing the cut angle at the vise. Just set the workpiece length, and swivel the headstock to an angle between -45 to +60-degrees and make the cut.

Headstock Swivel System The swiveling headstock can be adjusted up to 45-degrees. Simply loosen the headstock lock lever, and swivel the headstock to the needed angle of cut and lock the lever in place. When used with the cast iron stop you get consistent repeat cuts at the same length for efficient production.
Chip Tray The M1013 includes a chip tray which directs small workpieces into a bucket when the cut is complete.
