Shop Fox W1715 Metal Cutting Bandsaw 3/4 HP This economical, portable, easy-to-use, 3-speed bandsaw is an excellent choice for small or large projects where you must cut a variety of metals, plastics, or wood. When the vertical cutting attachment is installed, the saw is able to make vertical cuts for your unique cutting requirements.

Three Cutting Speeds The W1715 is capable of operating at 78, 108, or 180 FPM. The speed can easily be adjusted by changing the V-belt placement. The three cutting speeds allow this bandsaw to cut a variety of stock with varying hardness.

Built-In Mobile Base The W1715 features a built-in mobile base to easily move the machine to its desired location. The compact design takes up very little space and is ideal for shop with limited floor space.

Vise Included for Horizontal Operation This bandsaw includes a vise for holding workpieces during horizontal cutting operations. The vise is capable of holding stock for angle cuts ranging from 0 to 60-degrees.

Horizontal or Vertical Cutting The Model W1715 can easily be set up for vertical cutting operations to make cuts that are not a straight cut through the entire workpiece, such as curves or pattern cuts.

Horizontal Cutting The W1715 features a cast iron stop for use when making horizontal cuts. The stop allows you to get consistent results when performing repeat cuts at the same length for efficient production.

Feed Rate The W1715 feed rate is controlled by a spring and handle. Slower Feed Rate is achieved by twisting the handle clockwise to add tension to the spring while the faster feed rate is achieved by twisting the handle counterclockwise to remove tension from the spring.
