Urethane Drive Belt This sander features a urethane drive belt powered by a separate sprocket and chain driven motor for maximum power transfer. The W1678 Double Drum Sander accepts stock up to 4-1⁄2-inches thick by 26-inches wide, and is capable of completing both rough and finish sanding in one pass. The front sanding drum sands the workpiece with a coarse-grit sandpaper while the rear sanding drum sands the surface with a finer-grit sandpaper leaving you with a smooth finish.
